Big changes in life can be exciting, difficult, or sometimes both at the same time. Starting or ending a career, becoming a parent, children leaving home, retirement, divorce, or simply realizing that the life you've built no longer feels like the life you want can leave you wondering what comes next.
Sometimes a transition is something you chose. Other times it happens to you. Either way, it can bring questions about identity, purpose, relationships, priorities. It can have you questioning what you want the next part of your life to look like.
You don't have to be in crisis to want time and space to think about those questions.
Psilocybin-assisted therapy can give you a different setting to look at where you've been, where you are now, and what may be changing. At Reset, your therapist won't tell you what your next step should be. Instead, you'll have time before, during, and after the experience to explore what matters to you and what you want for this next part of your life.
What to Expect
Preparation: You’ll spend at least two hours preparing with your therapist before your psilocybin session. This gives you time to talk about the changes happening in your life, how you’re feeling about them, and what you’re hoping to explore.
You might be thinking about who you’ve been, who you’re becoming, decisions you’re facing, or what you want the next stage of your life to look like. You’ll also discuss what to expect during the session and how you’d like your therapist to support you.
Administration Session: Your psilocybin session is private, with your therapist there throughout the experience. You don’t need to spend the session trying to make a decision or figure out what comes next. Your experience may connect directly to the transition you’re going through, or it may bring your attention somewhere you weren’t expecting.
Your therapist will be there to support you throughout the experience. However, they will not push you toward a particular answer or outcome.
Integration: After your session, you’ll have at least two hours of integration with your therapist. This gives you time to talk through the experience and anything you’re seeing or thinking about differently afterward. You may want to discuss priorities, relationships, decisions, or what you want this next part of your life to look like. There’s no expectation that you leave your psilocybin session with everything figured out.
